STDs

I am a relative newbe and and have been more or less living vicariously in the online fantasy world. Have gone in to MPs a few times chickening out. I get to worried but at least i get a decent massage. I think the thing i am worried about is catching a STD. Can anyone who knows a little more about this subject discuss, if you have been doing this for a long time and never got anything or have. secondly if one were to partake in the full menu is a condom good enough to protect you 99% of the time. OR are there ok ways to enjoy that virtually have no risk like perhaps a covered BJ. OR if you know a good web site to explain safety with minimizing risk please post it.

I would like to know more first.
