New to site I guess

I lurk a lot on another 'review' site and know it very well...I haven't found my way completely on this one. I kind of chuckle too when some newbie asks for the world on a platter in this other site's LA forum, since I feel they should look first and ask ?'s after. But I'm on a mission and looking for allies.

I did in fact check out the reviews before both recent adventures, but with OHC I didn't write the name of the right gal to see, just the address.

I attempt this 'parlor game' once every few years (I know there are some great times to be had) and have instead concentrated on the indie world. But since I relocated to the valley awhile ago, and there isn't the bonanza of (Asian) indie's like there is on the Westside or Pasadena, I am looking anywhere I can locally....
